AI Skin Cancer Prevention - Skin cancer screening using AI and mobile technology

Our innovative solution allows at home for fast and comfortable assessment of moles. In 30 seconds, we can take a photo and receive guidelines of next steps.

AI Skin Cancer Prevention after an installation of a mobile app on a smartphone allows:
1. there is a map of body, where we can mark places where moles are located
2. to take easily photo of a mole, the application takes photo automatically
3. then a photo of a mole is analysed by AI Algorithm; in 30 seconds end user receives an assessment of the risk and guidelines of next steps
a. (!) what is important AI algorithm passed clinical examines
4. In the next step all cases with high risk are again assessed by the team of dermatologist
5. Additionally the app supports the process of monitoring due to periodical reminders

As every innovation in PZU also this we tested in a controlled environment. The service was shared for free, for 6 months our corporate clients and then their employees. Also, employees of PZU had a chance to test. A total of 100 thousand people had an option to test it in our project.
